A global approach to creativity

Nonfiction is a small team of storytellers - strategists, writers, designers, technologists, creators, and marketing experts.

Based in New York but working globally, we build custom teams for each client with creative talent from around the world. This allows us to draw from the world’s best ideas in tech, fashion, film, television, music, art, sport, and beyond, infusing each project with a global creative perspective.

Creativity-led, digitally informed

Creative work has become commoditized. Content is a word we have to use but dislike. It strips creativity of value and meaning.

So does the nature of how most agency work is made today, often isolated, inside, with a digital-first approach. Most agencies conducted research from a desk, far from your work and fans, regurgitating the same data points, trend reports, Google searches, and now ChatGPT inputs. Data and technology are critical parts of the process but shouldn’t be the entire process.

We conduct primary, first-person research and search for the stories worth telling by interacting with people and art. We lead with a creativity-first philosophy, applying the latest data and technology in service of creativity and meaning.
